Wondering what to expect?

We’ve broken it down for you.

Initial call.

When we call you, we’ll have a friendly chat to find out exactly what you want to achieve, whether it's building a new structure, adding more space, or changing how a room looks. We’ll ask about your goals, when you’d like it done, your budget, and any specific ideas you have in mind. This helps us understand your vision clearly right from the beginning.

Measured survey.

As part of the call, we'll discuss your project and what you're looking to do. If basic survey information isn’t available online, we might need to conduct a simple survey or scan of your property. This helps us get accurate measurements and details to ensure everything goes smoothly and matches your vision.

Design consultation.

After our initial call and once we've started working together, we'll arrange a meeting to discuss your project in more detail. This consultation is all about understanding your ideas and needs, looking at your property, exploring different design possibilities, offering our advice and suggestions, and figuring out the next steps together. It's our way of making sure we're on the same page and can create something that aligns perfectly with what you have in mind.

Our house extensions guide might answer some of your initial questions and help speed up the process.

Architectural drawings.

After our consultation, we'll create a suite of the drawings needed for your project. This could include things like floor plans, elevations (which show the outside of your building), and other specific details. These drawings are part of our package to support your project and make sure everything meets the building rules. It's all about making the process clear and straightforward for you!

Planning submission.

Next up is submitting for planning approval - if you need it! We can help oversee your planning application all the way through to a decision, acting as your agent. This means we'll handle the paperwork and communication with the council on your behalf, making sure everything is done correctly and improving your chances of getting approval.

For more information on all things “planning”, be sure to check out our planning guide.

Building regulations.

We can also help with preparing construction drawings, pricing, and submitting your building regulations application. This involves creating detailed plans and paperwork needed by your local council or independent inspector to ensure that your building work meets UK safety and quality standards. We'll guide you through this process, making sure everything is organized and ready for approval before construction starts. Our goal is to ensure your project meets all the necessary regulations and runs smoothly from beginning to end.
